Volleyball Recap: Troy Trojans vs. Horton Chargers
Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Horton Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18.
Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14-1. As for Horton, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-12.
Troy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Oskaloosa on the 10th. Horton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
