Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Guilford Falcons vs. Southwest Guilford Cowboys + How To Watch

Southeast Guilford hasn't had much luck against Southwest Guilford recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will head out to face off against the Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. Southeast Guilford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Thursday, Southeast Guilford came up short against Davie County and fell 80-67. The Falcons were down 64-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Andreas Muirhead, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 24 points and six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brodie Atkins, who went 6-for-14 en route to 16 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, Southwest Guilford made easy work of Southeast Guilford on Tuesday and carried off a 69-45 win. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Southwest Guilford now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southeast Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Southeast Guilford might still be hurting after the 69-45 loss they got from Southwest Guilford when the teams last played on Tuesday. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
