Basketball Recap: Cate Takes a Loss

Cate lost to Bishop Diego back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams were outmatched by the Cardinals and fell 84-23. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cate and nudges their season record down to 2-10. As for Bishop Diego, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Coming up, Cate is taking a road trip to square off against Del Sol at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.17 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bishop Diego, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against St. Bonaventure at 6:00 p.m.
