Volleyball Recap: Scott City Takes a Loss

Scott City lost against Central back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 25-16.

Emma Smith was nothing short of spectacular for Central: she had 20 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Smith has posted over her last six matches.

Scott City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-6-2.

Looking ahead, Scott City will square off against Oran at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Woodland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
