Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Comes Up Short

Wakefield lost against Stanton back in September of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-10.

Wakefield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-24 record this season. As for Stanton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Wakefield will face off against Homer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
