The Lincolnview Lancers will venture away from home to square off against the Hicksville Aces at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lincolnview is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since November 26, 2024 on Thursday. They took a blow against Columbus Grove, falling 70-37. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 71st).

Meanwhile, Hicksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Wayne Trace, falling 58-35.

Hicksville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Lincolnview, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.

Everything came up roses for Lincolnview against Hicksville when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 55-15 victory. In that matchup, Lincolnview amassed a halftime lead of 30-4, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
