Oak Hills is 0-3 against Lebanon since May of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Highlanders will venture away from home to take on the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Oak Hills will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
On Saturday, Oak Hills made easy work of Fairborn and carried off an 11-3 win. Considering the Highlanders have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Landen Seifert looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lincoln Schreiber, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Keeton, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Oak Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Lebanon's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 7-2 to Northmont. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Lebanon also got a good showing from Brody Mellott, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. What's more, Mellott gave up only three walks, the fewest he's had over his last three games.
Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Oak Hills, their record now sits at 16-9.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Oak Hills hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .314. However, it's not like Lebanon struggles in that department as they've averaged .336. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Oak Hills couldn't quite finish off Lebanon when the teams last played back in April of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can the Highlanders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
