Basketball Game Preview: Frederic Vikings vs. Winter Warriors

The Frederic Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Winter Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Frederic has given up an average of 53.8 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Frederic was beaten by Webster 59-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Winter got the win against Birchwood on Friday by a conclusive 74-49. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Frederic's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Winter, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Frederic strolled past Winter in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 46-27. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
