Softball Recap: Kingwood Park Comes Up Short

Kingwood Park lost against Port Neches-Groves on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kingwood Park Panthers came up short against the Port Neches-Groves Indians, falling 11-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kingwood Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Port Neches-Groves, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingwood Park will square off against Pasadena at 6:30 p.m. on March 7th. As for Port Neches-Groves, they will challenge Nederland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Port Neches-Groves knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Nederland likes a good challenge.
