Volleyball Recap: South Point Extends Winning Streak to Four

South Point waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Dawson-Bryant Hornets by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 14-25, 25-23.

Molly Adams paced South Point's offense, picking up 14 kills. Adams got some help from Gracie Carmon and her 27 assists. Carmon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

South Point's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Dawson-Bryant, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, South Point will host Westfall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dawson-Bryant, after both having extra time off, they and Chesapeake will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
