While Austin's win against Florence wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Bears had just enough and edged out the Falcons 6-5 on Thursday. The Black Bears haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Austin's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Trey Harville, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Austin's record is now 10-24. As for Florence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-21 record this season.
