Tompkins has gone 9-0-1 against Katy Taylor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Tompkins Falcons will be playing at home against the Katy Taylor Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. Tompkins' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Tompkins' win against Katy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Tompkins beat Katy by a goal, winning 3-2. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Tigers are ranked 139th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Katy Taylor brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand Paetow a 6-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Mustangs have won seven games by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tompkins pushed their record up to 17-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matchups. As for Katy Taylor, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-7-1.
