Basketball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

If Marshall was feeling good fresh off their 90-66 takedown of Duncan last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The game between the Marshall Bears and the Lawton Wolverines didn't end well, with the Marshall Bears falling 69-52. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Wolverines are ranked 17th).

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Lawton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.

Looking ahead, Marshall will challenge Harding Fine Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
