Football Game Preview: Page County Panthers vs. Central Woodstock Falcons + How To Watch

Page County is 0-4 against Central Woodstock since August of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Page County lost 62-42 to Madison County on Friday. Even if the Panthers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Central Woodstock entered their tilt with Luray on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bulldogs 37-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Falcons just coasted through the last quarter.

Central Woodstock's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Page County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Page County was dealt a bruising 41-6 loss at the hands of Central Woodstock when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
