Basketball Game Preview: Cheyenne Wells Tigers vs. Greeley County Jackrabbits

The Cheyenne Wells Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Greeley County Jackrabbits at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cheyenne Wells is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

On Saturday, Cheyenne Wells didn't have too much trouble with Genoa-Hugo/Karval as they won 43-29.

Paige Ryser was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last ten games she's played. Aubry Carroll was another key player, going 5 for 9 on her way to 10 points.

Meanwhile, Greeley County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 50-45 to Rawlins County. The Jackrabbits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cheyenne Wells is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Greeley County, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Cheyenne Wells and Greeley County were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but Cheyenne Wells came up empty-handed after a 36-35 loss. Can Cheyenne Wells avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
