Basketball Game Preview: Granger Spartans vs. Kittitas Coyotes

The Granger Spartans will head out to take on the Kittitas Coyotes at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Granger will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating White Swan, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Granger walked away with a 46-38 win over White Swan on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Kittitas posted their closest victory since February 2, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 win over Warden. The victory was some much needed relief for the Coyotes as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Granger now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Kittitas, their record is now 10-12.

Granger couldn't quite finish off Kittitas when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 57-54. Can Granger avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
