Valley faced Pleasant Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Spartans. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Pleasant Valley, they moved to 12-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
