Softball Recap: Los Alamitos Picks Up 14th Straight Win on the Road

It's playoff time, and Los Alamitos had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Whittier Christian Heralds on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Griffins sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Los Alamitos pushed their record up to 18-12 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Whittier Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-8 record this season.
