Basketball Recap: Onalaska Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Onalaska Loggers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-50 to the King's Way Christian Knights. While losing is never fun, the Loggers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Knights are ranked 67th).

This is the second loss in a row for Onalaska and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for King's Way Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Onalaska will welcome Raymond/South Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for King's Way Christian, they will host Corbett at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
