While Pagosa Springs's victory against Monte Vista wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Pagosa Springs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over Monte Vista on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for Pagosa Springs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kyler Henderson and Charles Washburn did most of the damage at the plate: Henderson went 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Washburn scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Pagosa Springs' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0.
