Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Almond-Bancroft walked away with it. They managed a 56-50 victory over the Wabeno/Laona Rebels on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Almond-Bancroft's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Wabeno/Laona, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-12.

Coming up, Almond-Bancroft will take on Pacelli on Thursday. One thing working in Pacelli's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. Wabeno/Laona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
