The Crusaders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 31-29 win over the Blue Jays on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted against the Blue Jays since December 4, 2020.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Rummel didn't have quite enough to beat John Curtis Christian on Friday and fell 21-19. While the Raiders had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Patriots 7-0.

Brother Martin's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Archbishop Rummel, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Brother Martin didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Archbishop Rummel in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 17-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
