Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lebanon

Lebanon hadn't done well against Western Boone recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Tigers blew past the Stars 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Lebanon never let Western Boone on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Kinley Young paced Lebanon's offense, picking up 15 kills. Young got some help from Caroline Brown and her 27 assists. Landry LePage controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Western Boone still got an impressive performance from Reagan Harlos, who had six digs and two aces.

Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Western Boone, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Lebanon has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Guerin Catholic on the 30th. As for Western Boone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Crawfordsville on the 30th.
