Softball Recap: Manila Takes a Loss

Manila was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs, falling 18-5. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Manila's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Buffalo Island Central, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Manila will welcome East Poinsett County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buffalo Island Central, they will square off against Rector at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
