The Effie Kokrine Charter Warriors lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Saturday was a bit more commanding. They took a serious blow against Glennallen, falling 59-13. Effie Kokrine Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-3.

Cheyenne Fields was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points for Glennallen. Teagan Rude was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Effie Kokrine Charter's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.6 points per game. As for Glennallen, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

As for Glennallen, they will head out on the road to square off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Houston is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
