Football Recap: Spanish Fort Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Spanish Fort was riding high fresh off their 27-7 takedown of Fairhope last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Toros fell 28-17 to the Theodore Bobcats on Friday. The contest was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Toros couldn't quite close it out.

Kendrick Able Jr. was a one-man wrecking crew For Theodore. as he rushed for 143 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries. What's more, Able Jr. posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August of 2024. Another player making a difference was Crishon Overton, who rushed for 93 yards on only 11 carries.

Spanish Fort's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Theodore, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
