Football Recap: Spanish Fort Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Spanish Fort was riding high fresh off their 27-7 takedown of Fairhope last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Toros fell 28-17 to the Theodore Bobcats on Friday. The Toros were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Kendrick Able Jr. had an outrageously good game for Theodore as he rushed for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 carries. What's more, Able Jr. posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August of 2024. Another player making a difference was Crishon Overton, who rushed for 93 yards on only 11 carries.

Spanish Fort's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Theodore, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
