Christian posted their closest win since September 30th on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the East Grand Rapids Pioneers 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Christian was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-90), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 12-25, 11-25, 27-25, 15-13.

East Grand Rapids lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mackenzee Stanley-Eldred, who had 18 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rylee Stanley-Eldred, who had 13 digs.

Christian's win bumped their record up to 31-7. As for East Grand Rapids, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 26-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Christian will challenge rival Forest Hills Eastern at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Grand Rapids is set to square off against their familiar foe Forest Hills Central at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
