There's no place like home for Dillon Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Augusta Christian Lions 41-7. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Dillon Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Blackmon, who rushed for 118 yards and one TD on only ten carries, and also threw for 312 yards while picking up 15.6 yards per attempt. Blackmon's longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards. Dillon Christian's leading receiver R Bracey was Blackmon's top target yet again, picking up 218 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Dillon Christian's run defense was locked in: Augusta Christian could only muster 2.9 yards per carry. While three picked up at least four total tackles, Bracey stood above the rest. He picked up 218 receiving yards and two scores. Dillon Christian didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.4.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Dillon Christian, adding 15 points to the final score. All those points came courtesy of Scott Burgarin: he added 15 points with five field goals.

Dillon Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Augusta Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Dillon Christian will venture away from home to face off against Trinity Collegiate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Augusta Christian, they will welcome Hilton Head Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Dolphins' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
