Basketball Recap: Upper Sandusky Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Upper Sandusky won the last time they faced Mohawk and things went their way on Saturday too. The Upper Sandusky Rams came out on top against the Mohawk Warriors by a score of 48-36. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Warriors are ranked 509th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Upper Sandusky is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Mohawk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Upper Sandusky will finish 2024 at home by hosting Bucyrus at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th. Mohawk and Wynford will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on December 28th.
