Seymour and Shawano Community are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2019, but not for long. The Thunder will welcome the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Seymour took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Ashwaubenon. The victory continues a trend for the Thunder in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won eight in a row.

Seymour walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 15-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Shawano Community got the win against New London on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Shawano Community not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept New London between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Seymour better focus on containing Jacey Cowden and Jozlyn Brocker as the pair were huge in Shawano Community's win. Cowden had ten digs and two assists, while Brocker had six digs. That's the most digs Brocker has posted since back in September. Manihsaeh Boyd also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Shawano Community was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

The victory got Seymour back to even at 17-17. As for Shawano Community, their win bumped their record up to 14-18.

Seymour suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Shawano Community in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Thunder avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
