Volleyball Recap: William Campbell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against George Washington on Monday, William Campbell came back down to earth. The Generals lost 3-0 to the Gretna Hawks on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-12, 25-6.

William Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Gretna, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. William Campbell will face off against rival Chatham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gretna is set to challenge their familiar foe Dan River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
