Viera lost against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hawks received a blow as they fell 57-40 to the Tigers. The loss put an end to the Hawks' undefeated start to the season.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aleyah McFadden, who posted eight points and 12 rebounds. Kylie Winslow was another key player, putting up nine points.

Leading Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy to victory were Gianna Conklin-Jones and Leila Bryant. Conklin-Jones went 6-for-10 on her way to 17 points, while Bryant earned 14 points along with six steals and five boards. Conklin-Jones continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Liz Stewart also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Viera fell to 2-1. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Viera wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-8 victory against Rockledge on the 5th. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-59 defeat against Lincoln Park Academy on the 5th.
