Soccer Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Clearview was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They lost 6-1 to the Firelands Falcons. While losing is never fun, Clearview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 445th, while Firelands are ranked 114th).

Clearview's goal came courtesy of Nathan Christensen, who's now up to 12 this season.

Clearview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Firelands, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Clearview wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Garrett Morgan on the 22nd. As for Firelands, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Midview on the 22nd.
