Highland entered their tilt with Rigby on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Trojans 13-1. With that victory, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Kai Jones made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jones was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cannon Eddie, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He has become a key player for Highland: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Mason Payne, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Highland now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Rigby, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will square off against Canyon Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Riverhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.27 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rigby, they will face off against Thunder Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
