Volleyball Recap: Phillips' Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Phillips can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Bowen Boilermakers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since April 1st.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Phillips got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 25-17.

Phillips now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bowen, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Phillips will head out to take on Catalyst-Maria at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bowen, they will venture away from home to challenge Richards at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
