It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Stanly can now relate to. They fell just short of the South Rowan Raiders by a score of  3-2 on Saturday. The Colts' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
 In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, West Stanly sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 21-25,  15-13.
 South Rowan had a senior duo take command as  Campbell Withers  had 34  digs and three  assists and  Raegan Shell  had 28 assists and nine  digs. Those 28  assists set a new season-high mark for  Shell.
West Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for South Rowan, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record  this season.
 West Stanly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Rowan, they will head out to  challenge Lake Norman Charter  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
