Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Cordova + How To Watch

Cordova waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Oak Grove Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-16.

Cordova's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chloe Kacharos, who had seven kills and four aces. That's the most aces Kacharos has posted over her last six matches. Amari Hagler was another key player, getting three aces and two blocks.

They weren't the only good server: Cordova was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive games.

Cordova now has a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Cordova will host Curry at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Grove, they are taking a road trip to face off against Indian Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
