Basketball Game Preview: Toronto Red Knights vs. Frontier Cougars

The Toronto Red Knights will take on the Frontier Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Toronto is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Indian Creek just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Redskins 51-47.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Frontier's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 69-54 to Caldwell. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 562nd, while the Redskins are ranked 225th).

Frontier's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Toronto, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Toronto strolled past Frontier in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 46-28. Will Toronto repeat their success, or does Frontier have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
