Soccer Recap: Tyler vs. Wheeling Central Catholic
After flying high against Magnolia last Monday, Tyler came back down to earth. The Tyler Knights came up short against the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights on Wednesday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Maroon Knights are ranked 14th).
Tyler dropped their record down to 4-15-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Wheeling Central Catholic, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-2-1.
As of now, neither Tyler nor Wheeling Central Catholic have any future games scheduled.
