Basketball Recap: Beckman Comes Up Short

Beckman was the 56-40 winner over Mission Viejo when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Beckman Patriots fell to the Mission Viejo Diablos 50-46.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mission Viejo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damian Navarro, who posted 27 points. That's the most points Navarro has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was JD Hill, who earned 14 points.

Beckman dropped their record down to 13-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mission Viejo, they moved to 11-16 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Beckman nor Mission Viejo have any future games scheduled.
