Baseball Recap: Missisquoi Valley Gets the Win

Missisquoi Valley and Champlain Valley Union pushed the score to 19-0 the last time they played Champlain Valley Union, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Thunderbirds' pitchers stepped up to hand the Redhawks a 3-0 shutout. The Thunderbirds were shut out 19-0 the last time they took on the Redhawks, so the Thunderbirds were just returning the favor.

Missisquoi Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reid Myers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Colby Young was another, scoring a run and stealing a base.
