Volleyball Recap: Douglass Falls to South Atlanta in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Douglass kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the South Atlanta Hornets. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Douglass was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23.

South Atlanta's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Douglass and Coretta Scott King YWLA will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Atlanta, they will be playing at home against Creekside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
