Passers beware: Will Pardue came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also picked up 56 receiving yards and one score, and also threw for 57 yards and one touchdown, but sadly Surry Central still had to take a 41-28 loss at the hands of Elkin. We hope Friday's game is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Looking ahead, Pardue and Surry Central will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as Surry Central takes on North Wilkes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles closed last season having dominated at home and they will enter the matchup having won five straight home games dating back to last season.
