Volleyball Recap: Thales Academy Apex Comes Up Short

Thales Academy Apex and GRACE Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Thales Academy Apex had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-16.

Leading GRACE Christian to victory were Caralyn Woodworth and Izzy West. Woodworth had 15 digs and three aces, while West had 14 assists. Woodworth is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Thales Academy Apex's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for GRACE Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season.

Thales Academy Apex does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for GRACE Christian, they will be playing at home against Concord Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
