Baseball Recap: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Tri-Central Trojans
Sheridan and Tri-Central pushed the score to 12-7 the last time they played Tri-Central, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Blackhawks never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Not much got past Jack Oland, who gave up just four hits to keep Tri-Central off the board.
At the plate, Dayne Voege was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jacob Hall, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
