Fayette Ware has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bolton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fayette Ware has 13 straight victories, Bolton has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Saturday, Fayette Ware earned a 63-53 win over Memphis Home Education Association.

Fayette Ware had a senior duo take command as Tacarien Freeman posted 25 points in addition to six boards and five assists and Tarecous Stevens dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Stevens is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last 12 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylon Terry, who scored eight points and six boards.
Fayette Ware smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Bolton was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 73-72 to Haywood. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (61), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Kylan Collins and Lekendric Phillips. Phillips had a solid game and went 9-for-15 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds. Meanwhile, Collins was balling out in the loss, going 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points along with eight steals and six assists.
Fayette Ware pushed their record up to 21-5 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Bolton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Fayette Ware has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Bolton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 22.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Fayette Ware came out on top in a nail-biter against Bolton in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 73-70. Does Fayette Ware have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bolton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
