Soccer Recap: Surry Central Comes Up Short

Surry Central lost against South Stokes back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles lost 4-1 to the Sauras. Surry Central have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Surry Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for South Stokes, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Surry Central will head out to take on North Wilkes at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Surry Central will be up against North Wilkes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.45 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Stokes, they are taking a road trip to square off against McMichael at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
