Volleyball Recap: San Fernando's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

San Fernando's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Monroe Vikings. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: San Fernando took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-6.

San Fernando's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Monroe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Fernando will head out to take on Van Nuys at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monroe, they will square off against North Hollywood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. North Hollywood will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Monroe surely won't give up without a fight.
