Volleyball Recap: Griffith Triumphs + How To Watch

After losing to Highland the last time they met, Griffith decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Griffith walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-23, 19-25, 25-23, 25-12.

Milah Castro paced Griffith's offense, picking up 14 kills. Castro got some help from Kaelin Bergdahl and her 33 assists. Finally, Saniya Harper kept Griffith's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

The victory got Griffith back to even at 4-4. As for Highland, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Griffith will head out to challenge North Newton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will take on Hanover Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
